back from taiwan!

OMG I HAVE TO SAY TAIWAN = SHOPPING HEAVEN! The things are super cheap as compared to singapore! Especially in the night markets!! i want to go back to taiwan again, the weather there is really nice, between 8-22 degree celcius so cool! i made new friends too : sarah, jesslyn,pei li,qin ai . i m trying to look for them, jesslyn got my email but i dont have hers waiting for her to add me in friendster and facebook. when she adds, i will ask for sarah's email add and the rest. there's also one loner guy in the tour group with his father and mother. his parents are Ok, quite fun, but he doesnt really talk to anyone in the group unless someone asks him a question. it seems like we want to make friends with him but he doenst. so no one bothered. LOL. but well still trying to look for him. LOL . well be nice to ppl , at least ppl answer ur questions ! LOL LAME SIA.


Lets see what we did during the 8days trip:

Day 1- assemble at singapore t1 airport at 11pm ++(china airlines LOL )
-check in then go to departure, then 1am must be in the departure area
-take off at 1.30am (wees! OFF WE GO TO SHOPPING HEAVEN! )
-and there goes day 1 haix.


Day 2- reach taipei 1st
- went for breakfast at some hotel in tao yuan
-went to tamshui fisherman's whard(dan shui ma tou) to see love bridge
-then a little shopping in the dan shui area ! YAY SHOPPING cheap sia the things.
-then lunch at some restuarant where the design was so cool
-then went to "taipei 101"
-then went to HOTEL! its called " Brothers hotel" its a 5-star hotel, went to rest for a while
sleep for like 2hrs then off we go to shopping at night market(free and easy after checking into hotel)
-walked for like 1hr from hotel to "rao he jie night market:, the walk was expected to be only abt 20mins, we knew we walked for an hour!!
-shop and eat shop eat, then took taxi to XI MEN DING!!!!
-ximending rules man! so the young ppl stuff all there!! bought things there too!
-tired le, go back hotel sleep !

I BOUGHT : a pair of slippers(from Rao he jie),6pairs of earrings(from dan shui ma tou shopping area), a fashion tie(from dan shui ma tou), 1 handphone chain( from taipei 101) 2hoodies and a long selve shirt (from ximending), a handphone strap(xinmending), a belt(xinmending) ON THE 2nd day of my trip!


Day 3- went to Ye Liu to see the queen head stone(scenery of the sea so so nice )
- went to chiufen(pronounced as jiufen) to do a little shopping and have lunch
-then head to Hualien(took e 12.9km tunnel which took 14yrs to build.
-went to temple at Su Ao gang kou
-dinner at parkview hotel(5star)
-went to room to sleep at parkview hotel!

HERE'S A REALLY GOOD JOKE : HOW DO U PRONOUNCE "PARKVIEW"? THE NATIVES IN HUALIEN PRONOUNCES IT AS "FCUK U" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I bought: 4handphone chains thats all so sad aint it?


Day 4- went to some linzi tea centre
-some national park
-some memorial building
-then went to some temple
-then HOT SPRING!!! YAY!
i didnt buy anything that day.

Day 5- head for kaoshiung
-go to some temple and mountain(fo guang shan)
-went to some granite and jade factory
-went to the Asia's largest shopping mall with all branded goods-Dream mall with some stupid hello kitty ferris wheel that no one would take.
-dinner @ dream mall
-went to love river to take some stupid love boat, so super boring and the place stinks LOL
-went to hotel check in
-then went to liu he ye shi nothing de. so boring . i only bought 3 fashion ties and a ring for me and my mum

Day 6- went to ri ye tan(sun moon lake) scenery super nice there
-went to wen wu temple
-went to niu zhu wen hua chun ( formosan aboriginal culture) there got theme park!!! i went to play "space mountain and jurassic cruise". jurassic cruise damn boring dont go take. waste time only.
-headed to taizhong and check in hotel 1st
-then went to fong jia night market(bought alot of things from there , well not alot but quite a number)
-i bought: a new pair of specs with degree, a pair of boots, a pair of short pants, 2keychains
-after shopping off to hotel we go to sleep we stayed @ hua wang hotel


Day 7- went back to taipei
-went to the national palace museum to see all the artefacts, super boring i hate history.
-lunch
-then went to some place to get some tian lu jade thing to protect u if u are not christian
-went to rose garden(history again dont bother talking abt it) at the bottom of yang ming shan
-then went to see some changing shifts of some marching soldiers .
-went to shi lin night market there got alot of things to buy also, eat also
-i bought : a sling bag only i think forgot le lar.
-went back to brothers' hotel again

Day 8- flight is at 8pm back to singapore so from morning after breakfast, its free and easy time for u to shop.
-went to Sogo a nearby deparmental store in the morning
-then went back to Ximending again to great birthday presents for friends.
-i bought another wristband, a bracelet and 2 necklaces for myself.
-and one VERY IMPORTANT THING : I saw da jing gang ( a taiwan show host ) shooting a tv show there! OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! so cooL!
-back to to brother's hotel before 4pm
- took bus to taoyuan airport
-went to check in blablablabla
-8pm off we go back to singapore. 4hrs flight. BYEBYE TAIPEI HELLO SINGAPORE!

thats the end of my taiwan trip! made new friends, trying to get in contact with them! where are u ppl!!! i had alot of fun, really , where are u ppl??

I LOVE TASMANIA!

i went to tasmania from the 19th of nov to the 26th of nov with my school for a geography fieldtrip! I learnt alot during the trip!! IT WAS SO FUN GOING ON A HOLIDAY WITH MY FRIENDS!! Lets see what we did on the 1st day:



19th nov 2008 :

-Reach airport at 9pm, meet teachers, and check in.

-Said our goodbyes to our parents and went through immigration

-Went to walk around departure area with Joanna, Janell, Wanrong and Safwan

-Headed for Gate 11 to board plane

-TAKE OFF AT 12am!

-TOok the plane to Melbourne and reached melbourne at about 7am plus(20th nov)



20th nov 2008:

-went to check in for jet star again

-went into departure area for boarding

-took an hour flight to HOBART!~

-reached hobart



WHEN WE REACHED HOBART....

-went go Woolsworth supermarket in Sorell.

-went to Richmond, saw thousands of sheeps,bulls, horses,grape vines,paddyfields.

-went to tassie oldest church where convicts in the past were buried : St. John Catheral Church. took pics!( IN next post! )

- went to tasmania's oldest bridge : in richmond.

-Saw ducks! so cute!

- headed for dinner

-went to YHA adelphi court hostel for rest



21st nov 2008:

-went to mt field national park

-did my fieldwork project there

-went into the river freezing river when the surrounding temp. was like 7 degree celcius?

-camillia, me, sa'aid and pheng boon went into the freezing river with temp. of like 5 degrees celcius?

-freezing freezing!

-then continue the walk

-ate bbq lunch

-went to bonorong wildlife park

-saw wallabys, koalas,kangaroos?

-feed them! so fun!

- then went to eastland mall to do some shopping!

-i bought a adidas jacket there

-went for dinner

-went back to hostel





22nov 2008:

-went to Salmanca market where u can bargain about price

-i bought 4 soft toys,16keychains

-went to apple musuem, saw how apples were being sliced into spiral shapes,packed, and peeled.

-got to drink 100% pure apple juice without sugar.

-had packed lunch sad sia

-then to tahune forest air walk.

-walked e tree top walk at almost 40m about river and ground, the whole path was vibrating, FREAKED OUT~!

-went for dinner

-back to hostel





23nov 2008:

-went to Freycinet National Park

-went for trekking/hiking(tiring sia)

-went to coles bay, beautiful beach

-saw wineglass bay , so damn beautiful

-travelled to Launceston for 4hrs ++

-ATE fish and chips at the restaurant FISH N CHIPS.

-went to batman Fawkner Inn hostel.





24nov 2008:

-went to cradle mountain

-half way bus broke down, waited for 1 hr for 2 small buses

-go see cradle mountain super nice.

-went to farm, feed sheeps!! so cool!

-saw how the sheep was sheared. ouch.

-saw pig, baby sheeps. so COOL!

-dinner

-back to hostel





25th nov 2008:

- SCHOOL VISIT
-made new friends.
-went for city tour in Launceston
-went got an hour shopping
-went to Cataract Gorge dont know for what. lame sia .
-back to hostel

26nov 2008:
-went to Launceston airport
-took jet star to melbourne
-5hr transit, went shopping at airport!

-bought 2 ripcurl shirt and 1 pair of slipper

-spent $20 on necklaces, bracelet. siao right?

then off we go on SQ 228 back to singapore!

less than 24 hrs away to tasmania!

Its just less than 24hrs away to the airport to tasmania! then 8 days away from home, i think i would be home sick, i miss so many ppl here! LOL, haix, its almost the end of november already, and SYF isnt dont yet, Super worrying man. BUT well its super tiring to be in SYF, but maybe it really is worth the time, pain and endurance. It makes me grow up through the process of learning and training. FONG LAO SHI( ms fong - my dance instructor @ Dance horizon and school) JIA YOUS WORH! Oh and also to those who are taking the YOUTH INTERMIDIATE COURSe AT DANCE HORIZON next yr! Its pan lao shi who is taking! LOL if they join, wah if i continue to advance and if i pass my exam, then i would be their senior le~~ LOl well IF I CAN PASS THAT IS.

6months ago this is what we said after the interview :
"can go tasmania or not? my results so lousy. sure cannot go one lar. "

4months ago :
" OH MY GOD I GOT IN! I GET TO GO TO TASMANIA!! YAY! "

2months ago :
" End year exam already! MUG MUG MUG! THEN GO TASMANIA!"

1month ago :
" YES! EYE FINISH ALREADY!! JUST 1 more month and off to tasmania~ "

2weeks ago :
" OMG just 2 weeks later we are off to tasmania! "

4 days ago :
" 4 days! just 4 days !! "

yesterday :
" ITS JUST TOMORROW!!!"

today :
" its just tonight! OMG !! TONIGHT!!! YES! "

Lol lameness begins with me ! guess thats all for today! i will update when i return from tasmania! OR MAYBE AT THE AIRPORT TONIGHT!

Mummy's birthday!

It was mummy's birthday on sat, 2nd of nov! happy birthday mummy! LOL went out for dinner with daddy, and cousin, went to at Tiong Baru, ate japanese pasta! yup yup. here's some pics i took!

Then after dinner, dad went to buy something at DIY shop, my cousin and I went walk walk on our own. then went to arcade, wanted to play but suey suey to play need card de, i only have Zone-X de card, so cannot play lor, went down, then mummy called saying that my godparents would be dropping by my house, so had to go home le. then i went home, bathed , wait for godparents to come, chat a bit, used computer, then slept!

i m being so lame.
